The Role

The role of Talent Development HRBP is to act as the ‘HR for HR’ advocate for the business. This role will create HR competency framework, build capability within the HR function and drive HR communications strategy which aligns to both internal and external needs. The role will implement and sustain a range of initiatives to develop HR talent across the organization such as: HR skills and behaviors competency framework, HR communication strategy, and special projects supporting the VP, Global Talent Strategy and the CHRO.

 

This position reports to the Vice President, Global Talent Strategy. The immediate priorities include creating a HR competency framework, developing the HR agenda, standardizing global HR practices and policies (in alignment w/legal) and improving and monitoring global HR productivity. You will accomplish this through collaboration with the regional HR business partner community, business leadership and your HR Global Thread (COE) colleagues.

 

We are looking for a dynamic, results driven individual who can deeply understand our business, talent strategy, workforce dynamics and in turn translate them into meaningful talent management and talent development activities. Ideal candidates will have proven ability to implement strategies to deliver measurable results.

 

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Establish strategy based on global needs assessment.
  • Create HR competency framework that seeks to clarify roles and responsibilities within the function, train and develop HR practitioners globally, effectively meet needs of the business and our leaders, develop and execute meaningful HR communication strategy, and ensure strategic workforce plan for the HR function.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive competency assessment process and related career progression models to support HR development, growth and progression.
  • Measure and monitor progress as it relates to the efficacy of the HR competency framework.
  • Build and support HR competency tied to business priorities and talent capability gaps ensuring clear succession planning, talent identification and development occurs consistently throughout the course of the year for entire HR function.
  • Partner with VP, Global Talent Development and CHRO on special/critical projects as needed.
  • Lead and support additional project work as required.

What We Are Looking For

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors and 5 years or HS/GED and 9 years of experience in operationalizing talent strategies across a business enterprise (Succession, Performance Management, Talent Review, Career Pathing).
  • Demonstrated experience integrating engagement data with performance and succession initiatives to impact culture change.
  • Possesses strong project/program management and facilitation skills.
  • Previous Experience with talent management technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: MBA or m aster’s in organizational development , Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Learning & Development or related field is preferred.
  • 7 years of experience.
  • Previous success in influencing without direct authority to effectively manage the needs of multiple stakeholders and clients.
  • Previous success in leading large scale, complex enterprise-wide change initiatives.
