The Role

The role of Talent Development Specialist is to help manage our talent development solutions and offerings while driving consistency across the globe. The role will implement and sustain a range of “grab-and-go” resources aimed at developing talent and building capability across the organization such as: change management, performance management, employee engagement, people strategy, and leader touchpoint.

 

This position reports to the Vice President, Global Talent Strategy. The immediate priorities include creating, redesigning and simplifying various disparate talent development processes and implementing these across the globe. You will accomplish this through collaboration with the regional HR business partner community, business leadership and your COE colleagues.

 

We are looking for a dynamic, results driven individual who can deeply understand our business, talent strategy, workforce dynamics and in turn translate them into meaningful talent development activities. Ideal candidates will have proven ability to implement strategies to deliver measurable results.

 

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Establish global resources and tools roadmap based on needs assessment.
  • Create and implement ‘grab-and-go’ resource repository that meets the talent needs of the business and builds further capability for the HR team, people leaders and the business.
  • Lead the culture and employee engagement strategy for the business and refresh our employee listening strategy through leveraging world class enabling technology.
  • Leverage external resources like benchmarks, research and partner input and make recommendations on our talent development solutions in order to ensure we are progressively adapting our talent development strategy in line with the market.
  • Partner with Communications, Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Total Rewards and Mobility, and other key stakeholders to support and drive our global employee experience strategy.
  • Leverage data and metrics to measure the ROI of our talent development solutions.
  • Lead other various project work and drive results and outcomes aligned with business priorities to include but not limited to: change management, performance management, employee engagement, people strategy, and leader touchpoint.

What We Are Looking For

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors and 5+ years or HS/GED and 5+ years of experience in operationalizing talent strategies across a business enterprise (Employee Engagement, Performance Management, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness, Employee Experience, and Leadership Development).
  • Demonstrated experience integrating engagement data with talent development initiatives to impact culture change.
  • Possesses strong project/program management and facilitation skills. Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.
  • Previous Experience with talent management technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: MBA or master’s in organizational development , Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Learning & Development or related field is preferred.
  • 7 years of experience preferred.
  • Previous success in influencing globally without direct authority to effectively manage the needs of multiple stakeholders and clients.
  • Previous success in leading large scale, complex enterprise-wide change initiatives.
