The Role

The Talent Learning & Programs Manager will lead our global leadership development program strategy, as well as oversee our soft skills learning and development strategy to ensure consistency across the globe. The role will implement, maintain and measure a range of initiatives to develop talent across the organization such as: developing soft skills learning strategy for all employees, assessing and refreshing current development programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of the business and strategically developing our talent, evolve our learning and development offerings to better meet the needs of our business and talent, and leverage enabling technology to offer more robust learning opportunities for our global workforce.


This position reports to the Vice President, Global Talent Strategy. The immediate priorities include LMS management, governance and learning catalog offerings, redesign and relaunch development programs in line with market, Workday Learning implementation and ‘grab-and-go’ talent development offerings for global HR and People Leaders. You will accomplish this through collaboration with the regional HR business partner community, business leadership and your Global HR Thread (COE) Partners. This role will manage a small team of coordinators who will support and execute the overall strategy.


We are looking for a dynamic, results driven individual who can deeply understand our business, talent strategy, workforce dynamics and in turn translate them into meaningful talent management and talent development activities. Ideal candidates will have proven ability to implement strategies to deliver measurable results.


Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Complete global needs assessment to inform overall strategy.
  • Redesign and relaunch global development programs w/in Dematic, and leverage parent company programs.
  • Lead Workday Learning implementation in partnership with key stakeholders for Dematic.
  • Refresh and retool LMS to ensure appropriate governance, compliance and meaningful learning and development offerings for our global workforce.
  • Create global learning and development offering change management and communication plan.
  • Create, monitor, track and report KPIs which measure the effectiveness of global learning and development offerings.
  • Drive overall culture and engagement strategy, leveraging tools and resources to ensure we are listening to our employees and acting on their feedback.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Global HR Thread (COE) Partners to ensure alignment with needs and business priorities.
  • Lead additional projects as needed.

What We Are Looking For


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors and 7 years or HS/GED and 9 years of experience in operationalizing learning and development strategies across a business enterprise (Learning, Development Programs, Career Pathing and Succession Planning).
  • Demonstrated experience integrating engagement data with performance and succession initiatives to impact culture change.
  • Possesses strong project/program management and facilitation skills. Lean Six Sigma and/or project management experience preferred.
  • Previous Experience with talent management technology solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Education: MBA or master’s in organizational development , Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, Learning & Development or related field is preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience.
  • Previous success in influencing without direct authority to effectively manage the needs of multiple stakeholders and clients.
  • Previous success in leading large scale, complex enterprise-wide change initiatives.
