You will lead an interdisciplinary technical team to drive the solution delivery function for our customers. You will apply knowledge and expertise with Controls or Systems Software in the execution of sold solutions to our customers. You will resolve inconsistencies in and see opportunities, engage with customers on proposals, and support change order requests. In this role you will work multi-functionally in a large corporate organization among engineering (mechanical, controls, and software) and project management teams. In addition, this person will be responsible for Customer Acceptance or completed systems.Including integration of subsystems, equipment, controls and Softwware. Customer acceptance testing, go to customer sites, and execute plans. This position can be located at any one of our field offices throughout North America (Texas, Illinois, Ohio, or other.), with preference in a major field office - New Berlin, WI or Grand Rapids, MI or Atlanta, GA.Responsibilities:- You are responsible for the overall technical aspects of projects.- Ensure that solutions are aligned to customer needs and requirements.- Working with internal and external customers, leads the creation of the functional description specification and system arrangement (equipment) within budget and on schedule.- Serves as focal point for all customer technical discussions. Is an advocate for customer’s technical and productivity concerns.- Ensures project landmarks and customer contractual expectations are met.- You will be the primary coordinator for internal engineering resources.- Ensures consistent technical performance and intra-project consistency to standards, processes, and technical consistency.-  - Ensures all technical disciplines are working together toward common goals and on compatible schedules.- Develops the Test Execution Plan and obtains all necessary approvals.- Writes and conducts Acceptance Test Plan (in house and on site).- Provides advocacy on project risk avoidance and mitigation.- Provides input regarding team member performance

Dematic has immediate needs for Mechanical Installers to join our Installation team. The successful candidates will have experience and qualifications listed below:- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment.- Willing to travel extensively for long periods of time within continental US.- Use personal vehicle to travel to sites.- Experience in conveyor system layout, component pre-assembly, header steel installation, platform and structural steel erection, conveyor installation, guard rail, rack, air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron), detailing and run-in of installed equipment.- Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.- Must possess a high degree of safety awareness.- Self-motivated; results oriented; task oriented.- Ability to help lead less experienced locally hired personnel.- Good communicator and willing to take direction.- Some computer experience preferred; basic emailing, spreadsheet input and report input.- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.- Ability to push, pull, squat, crawl and walk around large constriction sites in various climates and environments.- Possess a valid driver's license.

Dematic is hiring for a Senior Project Manager to focus on small to large complex material handling projects.  This role would would be based near a Dematic field office (Michigan, Ohio, Atlanta, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin, and/or remote option). Complex projects may contain or consist of complex PLC controls software, complex WMS software, high speed carton and package conveyance and sort subsystems, pallet handling systems etc.  - Substantial and extensive experience with planning, management and execution of highly complex material handling systems- Understanding of the dynamic handling characteristics, constraints and risks associated with the wide range of materials handled within a complex material handling system.- Knowledge of the constraints and methods for defining and demonstrating equipment, subsystem, and system performance criteria.- Understanding and knowledge of various controls architectures, related controls levels, and the functionality of controls domains, inclusive of WMS and WCS integration.- Knowledge and understanding of the responsibilities and impacts of project execution when interfacing with General Contractors, Construction Managers or owners.
