Familiarity with software and controls deployment in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is required. Due to continued growth in our organization, Dematic Corporation is hiring an Pre Commissioning Installation Manager.  We are looking for an experienced Pre Commissioning Installation Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of  projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset and great organizational skills. The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements, without exceeding budget. Responsibilities:- Assist with routine equipment trial runs to ensure that it meets specifications and assure equipment is installed to Dematic Standards. Provide assistance with training of subcontractors in the installation of Dematic and other material handling equipment.- Perform routine work within technical or paraprofessional area. Identify problems as they occur and suggests appropriate resolutions.- Responsible for interfacing with Project Management, Installation Management, Engineering and customer (at appropriate level) on project issues. - Quoting projects, including a pricing review meeting, justifying installation costs, and choosing subcontractors in conjunction with purchasing.- Prepare quote packages that include a transmittal letter, drawings, equipment list, customer criteria, scope of work, general overview, and the schedule for the project.- Attend weekly project review meetings, track financials, and contact and update the sub-contractors on a weekly basis.- Make site visits to help with commissioning if needed and enforce safety and quality standards.- Ordering all consumables, equipment rentals and other resources required for project execution.- Attend post project meetings to recommend design or concept changes if problems arose during the installation process.- Forecasting monthly installation costs and updating PMC tool.- Promote job site safety and a clean and productive work environmentThe ideal candidate for this position has at least three years of electrical supervision experience.  They will be servicing projects with Installation budgets in the $25,000 to $1M range.  A high school diploma or equivalent is required. He or she has the appropriate math skills (calculations, geometry, etc.), follows and enforces established safety rules and regulations to maintain a safe and clean environment. In addition, he or she has strong organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills. Good time management skills, professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

Dematic Corp. has an immediate need for a Site Safety Coordinator position. This position is 100% travel. Job Family Responsibilities:- Advises and assists site supervisors on EHS matters, including fact/data gathering, problem identification/resolution and offering objective assistance and guidance on EHS matters.- Functions as an employee advocate/management partner by establishing and maintaining clear lines of communication with internal customers, maintaining awareness of employee EHS needs/issues and addressing these with the appropriate management.- Designs and implements major EHS initiatives as assigned.- Administrative responsibilities: records/file maintenance; reports development.Key Responsibilities:- Area of responsibility is primarily tactical/operational in nature, with limited strategic impact.- Typical responsibility for innovation is to continuously enhance or improve existing policies, products, and methods.- Identifies resource needs and develops justification.- Troubleshoots and resolves EHS issues at installation sites.- Conducts EHS audits for installation sites and reports issues using a Dematic standard format.- Communication with installation site management/supervision on EHS issues daily.- Key areas of responsibility:- Set up and maintain a current bulletin and posting (Federal, State, Local) display.- Perform crew safety talks.- Administer safety training (new and refresher).- Administer equipment training and issue operator permits to those who are competent.- Daily instructions and reminders of PPE and Safety policies to the crew- Maintain all OSHA/Dematic compliance forms (OSHA 300, Daily walk thru, First aid Logs, Triple I forms, weekly safety meetings, First aid inspections, Fire extinguisher inspections, harness/lanyard and ladder inspections, maintain first aid cabinets and fire extinguishers, etc)- Perform daily walk thru (Multiple times a day).- Safety briefings as needed on the project (per Project, Dematic, customer).- Be on site as crews work schedule demands (this includes all subs as well as split schedules, may result in 12-14 hour days).- Administer first aid as needed or seek medical assistance for all injuries- Carry current OSHA 30 and first aid training.- Send in all monthly paperwork, input all forms into the project file in PMC (Dematic employees only).

Dematic is looking for a Procurement Category Lead to join our winning team.  The Procurement Category Lead is responsible to develop and execute a comprehensive category strategy and plan that enables profitable and scalable business growth.  The Category Lead must have full knowledge of the supplier market (characteristics, dynamics, etc.) and the extended supply chain in order to cultivate maximum value for Dematic.   It is expected that the Category Lead will take the initiative to understand the overt and latent needs of internal customers.  The Category Lead will collaborate with other sub-functions within Procurement but also with cross-functional team members in Project Management, Engineering, Solutions Development, Finance, Quality and others.  Primary key performance indicators (KPIs): Total Cost of Ownership savings, cash generation, margin improvement, and supplier operational performance (on-quality, on-time delivery).  The Category lead is responsible to ensure best practices in risk mitigation and contract adherence are followed in a compliant manner. Other Key Primary responsibilities include:- Pre-negotiate competitive pricing agreements and models to ensure speed-to-market front-end execution - Develop robust cost savings funnel and project manage initiatives until successful implementation- Ensure actual pricing is consistent with master supply agreements and price models- Actively pursue internal “voice-of-customer” and ensure perspectives are addressed in category approaches- Ensure competitive supplier panel (including sole/single source mitigation) is developed to support high business growth rates- Monitor supplier financial risk and take business-protecting proactive actions- Conduct supplier business reviews with forward-leaning agendas: technology, collaboration and overall competitiveness

Dematic has immediate needs for Mechanical Installers to join our Installation team. The successful candidates will have experience and qualifications listed below: Qualifications:- Minimum 2-5 years’ experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment.- Willing to travel extensively for long periods of time within continental US.- Experience in conveyor system layout, component pre-assembly, header steel installation, platform and structural steel erection, conveyor installation, guard rail, rack, air piping (aluminum, copper, black iron), detailing and run-in of installed equipment.- Ability to read and comprehend engineered drawings.- Must possess a high degree of safety awareness.- Self-motivated; results oriented; task oriented.- Ability to help lead less experienced locally hired personnel.- Good communicator and willing to take direction.- Some computer experience preferred; basic emailing, spreadsheet input and report input.
