This role can be based anywhere throughout North America, preferably by nearby airport for travel. Qualifications:- Trade school graduate or two year Associates degree in a mechanical, electrical, or mechanical technician program. Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred.- Two years (minimum) experience in troubleshooting electromechanical and/or mechanical equipment. Successful candidate must have some working experience with material handling equipment. Service experience with- AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is highly prized.- Must be willing to travel on short notice and spend more than 80% of the time traveling. You will accelerate innovation with design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, commissioning, training and support activities that build intelligent Distribution Center Order Fulfillment Software Solutions.CoreJob Responsibilities:- Provides technical leadership for complex projects - Contributes to departmental standards and policies - Interacts with other Dematic disciplines, customers and 3rd parties to develop software solutions - Supports the development and delivery of key project documents - Responsible for software design and documentation for assigned projects - Participates in the software development process (Agile, Waterfall) from requirements thru delivery - Improves organizational capability through mentorship, lunch and learns, etc. - Contributes to product and process improvements via submittal of product enhancement requests and participation in company / departmental initiatives. Leads integrated testing and is responsible for the overall quality of the project solution

You be part of a team supporting activities that build intelligent Distribution Center Order Fulfillment Software Solutions.CoreJob Responsibilities:- Responsible for the delivery, quality and budget of software execution projects.- Responsible for publishing, communicating, and maintaining a project plan/schedule.- Responsible for managing scope and change control.- Responsible for generating and coordinating customer deliverables.- Proactively seek ways to identify and mitigate project risks.- Responsibility for managing all aspects of the customer relationship,- Provide buffer to the technical side of team to keep focus on the deliverables.- Ensure standard work and execution framework being followed (DI1000/ISO).- Receive and understand the solutions development concept and simulation.- Coordinate in-house and on-site project activities with other disciplines.
