As a member of the US Operations Finance organization, the SLC Manufacturing Cost Accountant plays a key role in the success of the Global Operations function at Dematic. This role would be supporting a manufacturing facility within a much larger global organization (35,000 employees globally). Ability to assess and carry out completion of projects and performs project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control. You will establish and prepare technical standards, complex technology design theory and procedures. Further job responsibilities include: - Successfully defines workflows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness.- Analyzes and understands impact of decisions on business operations.- Supports and develops departmental budgets, and business plans for projects.- Analyzes technology, resource needs and project timelines, to plan and ensure the success of all projects.- Appraises and recommends changes in methods or procedures.- Responsible for overall success of a team anywhere between 4-7 direct reports within the distributor engineering and global project engineering departments.- Requires travel to customer locations and other Dematic locations when needed (maximum 20% traveling requirement).
