Dematic Corp has an immediate need for a Solution Project Manager in the North America Solution Development Department at our Brecksville, OH; Milwaukee, WI or Grand Rapids, MI offices. This position will report directly to a Sr. Director, Solution Development NA. The Solution Project Manager will be responsible for the entire proposal life cycle of projects in the Central Operations Sales Region. The successful candidate will have 5-8 years’ experience managing complex projects.  Essential Role and Responsibilities: - Manages the solutions proposed to customers. Includes management of all pre-contract deliverables performed by the internal team from initial meetings through firm quote within the set deadline and budget framework in compliance with the offer process.- Identifies Applicability of Dematic Standard Sub Systems in earliest stage of pre-qualification sales cycle (assure solutions are data driven).- Owns proposal plan and communication of initial deliverable dates and subsequent changes to it.- Acts as the main contact for assigned Sales Region Director and Account Managers during all stages of the sales cycle. - Supports the Operations Planner who will lead customer engagements during planning phase.- Maintains thorough understanding of the customer’s requirements (technical and commercial) to function as the voice of the customer internally.- Coordinates Initial Qualification, triage of needs, and feasibility checks (initial review of customer RFP and customer specification docs).- Prepares and coordinates customer workshops in cooperation with Sales and other internal departments.- Partners with Solution Development Managers to assign necessary resources to project, including Ops Planners, Solution Concept Developers, Engineers, and Software Consultants. Identify resource issues to Solution Development Executive Leadership for resolution.- Supports the Account Manager in Winning Strategy and High-Vis Meetings.- Trusts and relies on team members to be the subject matter experts for project work. - Coordinates with Sales to define the definition of deliverables in the Solution Request and delivery dates.- Ensures timely and clear handovers through quality gates such as concept, tech and pricing reviews and project turnovers.- Secures approval for deviations to processes and policies (as needed).- Coordinates with Project Management on Clarifications and Change Orders during Project Kickoff Period, including ORA’s.- Attends Project Close-Out/Lessons Learned Meeting.

Dematic Corp. has a need for a Maintenance Technician III at the Chippewa Falls, WI site. This role will be working Monday - Thursday 5pm - 5am. The Maintenance Technician Level III is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance. Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment that is installed at a specific site location.  Using problem solving and critical thinking, additional key responsibilities include the following:1. Repair and maintenance of MHE including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, component lubrication, etc.2. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.3. Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.4. Under the direction of the Field Service Manager, this position provides service and repair as well as service and maintenance training for installed Dematic systems and equipment. As the Dematic representative in the Customer's facility, this position has a heavy responsibility for maintaining customer goodwill toward Dematic. Primary objective is to ensure that Dematic systems have the greatest availability possible for Customer use and to ensure that Customers are satisfied with their Dematic system and equipment. This role can be based anywhere throughout North America, preferably by nearby airport for travel. Qualifications:- Trade school graduate or two year Associates degree in a mechanical, electrical, or mechanical technician program. Bachelors degree in Engineering preferred.- Two years (minimum) experience in troubleshooting electromechanical and/or mechanical equipment. Successful candidate must have some working experience with material handling equipment. Service experience with- AGVS, AS/RS, or conveyors is highly prized.- Must be willing to travel on short notice and spend more than 80% of the time traveling. May be continuously away from home for as long as a month (offer travel expenses).- Must be willing to be availible during off hours and travel accordingly.- Willingness to work weekends, holidays and off shifts.- Must be able to act calmly in stressful situations.- Must be able to write concise, clear, and complete trip reports in the time frame required according to Dematic procedures.- Must have knowledge in the use of personal computers for word processing, data base functions and communications.
